Sewing has been an outlet in my life the moment I gave it a try in high school and enjoyed the challenge it gave me. Sadly, sports were part of my life and gave up on pursuing my sewing journey.
In 2020, I had the idea to create a welcoming outfit for my 2nd child. With my last 2 months before my due date, I purchased a sewing machine and serger right away. I joined small shop groups and found the best small shop fabric suppliers to start my journey. I practice some outfit patterns for my oldest, and it was a lot of trial and error using repurposed fabric. As I became comfortable with knit fabric, I ventured out on fun prints that would be one of a kind for my family. 

The night before I went to labor, I was sewing a knotted gown between mild contractions. I knew I had to get it finished as I felt my body was ready to welcome our boy. The knotted gown was finished, and was able to "rest that night". 1am the next morning, we welcomed our boy at home and was able to get his outfit sewn by me on. 

Seeing my project come to life on my son was memorable. After that, my sewing increased all while raising 2 under 2. 

Fast-forward to 2026, my kids are 8 and 6. They have their own taste of fun prints and come up with the most creative ideas for mommy to sew. I enjoy the challenge of creating these "fun projects" for my kids and do our best to bring their scrap into a reality of a stuffie, patchwork handbag and more. 

I don't necessary follow what is trending, I enjoy creating basic items that I enjoy wearing around our farmhouse and what makes sense to live a comfortable lifestyle when farm-life is "farming". I am here to create what inspires me for the day and involve the kids to pick the print of fabric to make their own statement in style.
